Fiber Fence Perimeter Monitoring System

Patented Fiber Fence can detect and locate intruders anywhere along a fence line up to 10 miles in length. The System can be installed on existing objects such as perimeter fencing, walls, and gateways. An alert occurs when someone causes a disturbance to the optical fiber, or to the Mouse Trip™ sensor to which it is attached. Fiber Fence is relatively inexpensive, and very easy to install. System includes an OTDR for system monitoring and testing.

StrikeZone Security Integration Solution

Our patented StrikeZone Security Solution combines advanced optical technology with specialized sensing devices and high tech security systems to achieve performance and reliability superior to other intrusion detection systems. Adopted by the U.S. Military, The Fiber Fence can monitor up to 16 km (10 miles) of fence line without requiring power anywhere along the perimeter. Systems can be cascaded to provide monitoring distances of up to 80 km (50 miles).

Fiber Fence 50

Our affordable Fiber Fence Model 50 is an ideal introductory system.
This solution is suitable for facilities that have fence lines of up to 1,000 feet in length, which is approximately the perimeter of a football field. Except for location information, the system offers all Key Features.

FIS Mouse Trip™ Intrusion Locators

A Mouse Trip™ increases the sensitivity and reliability of the Fiber Fence system by providing added protection against the unforeseen. The unit is installed directly on the fence, with the fiber attached inside the enclosure. A slight pull (laterally or vertically) will trip the Mouse Trip. The control unit's alarm activates and the distance to that Mouse Trip™ is displayed on the LCD, or computer monitor screen.

FIS Coax Security Survailence Cameras

These cameras have the same camera housing and mount as our fiber optic cameras but transmit over coaxial cable using standard BNC connectors. These cameras can also transmit over fiber optic cable if used in conjunction with a fiber optic transmitter and receiver. The non-metallic housing is available with a heater option, and the metallic housing is available with a heater and blower option.

Fiber Optic Sensing Cable

Designed to signal attenuation (decrease in energy transmission due to the loss of light) from an intrusion or other unusual event, our fiber optic dielectric sensing cable is engineered specifically for Fiber Fence™ Security Systems. The cable is pliable enough to withstand installation yet calculated to break when tension reaches a specified level. Besides a lower bend radius, this cable is more sensitive than standard fiber optic cable.

Cover Cop Utility Cover Surveillance

The Utility Cover Surveillance (UCS) system provides around-the-clock monitoring of manholes, handholes and access panels. UCS signals an alert whenever a manhole or other utility cover is opened, showing security personnel the exact location of the open cover on a map displayed on a computer monitor.

Fiber Optic Perimeter Entrance Security - Gate Gard

The Gate Gard mechanism protects gateways and other openings from unauthorized access. It uses the existing fiber within the Fiber Fence System, so no additional power is required. Gate Gard includes a lock/unlock feature that allows only authorized personnel to enter/exit without triggering an alarm.
