Embedded DVR's (Digital Video Recorders) have all the programming embeded on the internal computer chips so they do not require a Windows operating system. Stand alone DVRs are very easy to set up and have their own internal hard drive for storing digital images or video.

All functions can be controlled from the DVRs front pannel, or through the included remote control, as well as remotely via the internet. The rear pannel includes convenient input/output ports for audio/video connections.
